EasyAntiCheat

EasyAntiCheat (EAC) is a third party anti-cheat software made by, you guessed it, EasyAntiCheat. We implemented EAC into the game with Patch #10 to help stop cheaters/hackers from being able to play online. It is extremely helpful to us for a lot of reasons, one of the most important being that we can focus more on the game now because someone is keeping an eye on possible cheaters for us.

With new software of course comes new questions, and potential bugs. I wanted to share EAC's website and FAQ so that you may learn more about them. As well as access their knowledge base to find answers to common problems you may be experiencing. They offer a lot of guides on fixing problems, and have a very helpful community if you are experiencing problems with EAC.

Update from the Team #15: EULA update and next big release

" with CRYENGINE 3.7 out and in user's hands since last week, we wanted to give you a heads-up on a change to our EULA (End-User License Agreement) and give you a small glimpse at our next big update.
First however, we want to thank all of you for your feedback to 3.7- both the many kinds words, as well as the reports of issues that you have encountered. Rest assured that we are reading through all of it on our forums!
Additions to the CRYENGINE Engine-as-a-Service EULA
First up is a small, but important update to our EULA. Under section 1 "Definitions", we will change 1.1 to read as follows in the future:

1.1. "CryEngine": the CryEngine for PC/Windows or Linux (as applicable) in object code form, including the CryEngine Tools, the CryEngine Assets and any updates thereto as made available by Crytek at its sole discretion under the "CryEngine as a Service" program.

Let's talk about the pengui... elephant in the room If you read the above paragraph, it might not come as a major surprise to you, but we are proud to announce that we will add an Open GL implementation and support for running your EaaS games on Linux with one of our next updates. For now, Linux support will be limited to the game launcher, and the Sandbox editor will still require Microsoft Windows. And of course, Linux support will be subject to the same developer-friendly terms as on Windows: Your monthly subscription fee will allow you to sell your games for Linux in addition to Windows, with no additional fees or royalties required.
While we can't pin an exact date on this update, we wanted to give you an early heads-up so you can start planning your Linux ports today!

Safe Zone: let's talk a little about yourself.

fathermaguire: I'm a 42 year old gamer, been playing since Grandstand plug ins back in the 70's.
I enjoy playing most games although PC gaming is my passion. I enjoy streaming and watching other streamers,
I watch alot of films and TVshows, I have a 14year old Jack Russell called Titch, got him from a rescue kennel when he was 3.
I'm not married, no kids and work as a Supply Planner. I'm a fairly serious person but thoroughly enjoy comedy hence the reason
I'm called Father Maguire.

Safe Zone: as a Streamer how do you interact with server population
          and your own stream followers?

fathermaguire: I try to be friendly to anyone I meet if at all possible, I help where
i can as knowing from starting the game how bad it can feel when you trust someone who
kills you. I love my stream followers and attempt to interact in any way I can, I encourage
all to not just sit and watch but become part of an amazing experience playing Miscreated.

Safe Zone: your twitch channel "boomed" from 50 followers to more than 100 in 1 week
                  your thoughts about this.

fathermaguire: This was clearly down to the giveaway Entrada Interactive very kindly gave
me as thanks for streaming. It was never about me as a streamer but about the game itself
and hopefully the game was what pulled people in to watch and compete. I was very happy
with the amount of followers I got from the giveaway and am humbled people want to watch
me playing it.

Safe Zone: weapon of choice?

fathermaguire: Melee - FAH-Q paddle, no doubt. 41% damage, that thing rocks! Gun wise, not
luck with the high end M40 yet, but had a good crack with the AT15 and like that. Once the
little glitches are solved it would be an easier choice. At the moment because of whats
happening I would have to say the AT12 shotgun, deals with spikers easily and using slugs at
distance makes for a right mess.

Safe Zone: Miscreated players are Hyped about the near Base Building implementation
Are you one of them?

fathermaguire: I can't wait especially after the recent picture you showed us, its going to
bring alot of players together and totally open up map domination.

Safe Zone: KOS " kill on Sight " your thoughts.

fathermaguire: I don't like it, but what can you do, some people are of the opinion that if
you required what someone else has then you should do what you can as its a survival
game. Some just do it for fun. Me, personally, if you shoot at me, I will shoot back.
